I read an article by Steve and Cokie Roberts about the 22 yr old Illegal alien who has been in this country for the last 10 years. She was brought here by her parents when she was around 10. She was picked up on a traffic stop and the local law enforcement determined she was not a citizen-please note illegally in this country.
A few protests later she has been released to finish her degree in GA. She has gotten a 1 yr reprieve. Ironically this year she must pay out of state tuition and not receive in state discount. Ouch there's another $6,000 extra. Where will that money come from a pell grant?
What needs to be answered in our adoring press is:
Question 1. All heart strings aside. Why is the Federal government not enforcing the laws of this nation and deporting an illegal alien?
Question 2. Since we have now found the daughter where are her parents and have they been deported? I assume they are not still finishing a discounted college education after 10 years.
